In November 2022, the Advocate’s Newspaper published an article that formulated a critique of the gaps in the provisions of the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation regarding the falsification of evidence. Our bureau responded to this publication by submitting to the Advocate’s Newspaper a critical commentary, which pointed to the incorrect formulation of the question – there is no gap in the civil procedural legislation, the problem is in the unfortunate wording used by the legislator. Legislative changes are required to correct these defects. Other colleagues from the legal community agreed with this opinion.
