The International Scientific-Theoretical Conference titled “The State and Law: Evolution, Current State, and Development Prospects” was held at Saint Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The event focused on the theme “Transformation of the State and Legal System: History and Modernity (Dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War).”

Mikhail Antonov took part in the conference as a speaker at the plenary session, presenting on the topic “On the Correlation Between the Concepts of ‘Legal State’ and ‘Policeman’s State’.”

The conference gathered over 200 scientists and practitioners, as well as more than 300 young researchers. Participants included experts from Azerbaijan, Belarus, South Ossetia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and various regions of Russia, fostering a vibrant scientific discussion on contemporary legal issues and state development.
